Getting to the museum

By public transportation

Bus routes 2, 12, 14, 14H, 20, 22, 34, 35, 38, 44a stop in front of the Museum. (name of bus stop: “Népkert”)
From the tram stop “Villanyrendőr” you can change to bus 2, 12, 20, 22. From the tram stop “Szinvapark/Centrum” you can change to bus 14, 14H, 34, 35, 38, 44.

You can access the museum from the tram rout on foot as well, it takes approximately 15-20 minutes. From the stop “Villanyrendőr” follow Szemere Bertalan St. and after that, Görgey Artúr St. From the stop “Szinvapark/Centrum” follow Corvin St. In both cases, the building of the museum is on the right side.

By car

From the direction of Kazincbarcika:
Follow route 26 southward to Szeles St. Turn right onto Szeles St. then turn left onto Szentpáli St. Continue onto Corvin St. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Görgey Artúr St. The museum will be on the right.

From the direction of Felsőzsolca:
After arriving to Miskolc on route 3, in downtown use the left 2 lanes onto to turn left onto Ady Endre St./Route 3. Continue to follow Route 3, and after approximately 750 m turn right onto Dankó Pista St. Turn left onto Corvin St. At the 2nd exit onto Görgey Artúr St. The museum will be on the right.

From the direction of Nyékládháza:
Drive northward on Pesti Lane, then take a slight left onto Csabai kapu. Continue onto Görgey Artúr St. The museum will be on the left. You have to go over the museum’s building, and turn back in the roundabout to access the museum and the parking spaces.

Entrance

Visitors of the Pannon Sea Museum have to enter through the main entrance of the building (middle door at the east side of the museum, at the top pf the stairs). Visitors with disabilities can use the ramp located alongside north-east direction of the museum. It can be accessed by turning to the little street next to the bus stop.
You can purchase your tickets at the registration desk, which is on the right after entering. You can use the cloakroom here free of additional charges. Please leave any larger bag in the cloakroom! The Pannon Sea Exhibition Building occupies the -1th and -2nd floor. You can access these floors by elevator or by using the spiral staircase right of the elevator. Between level -1 and -2, there is a separate elevator working.
